This is a force graph of the JRZ double adjustable bump reserviour.

Low velocity adjustment has 6 positions
These are shown with the wide spaced curved lines
High velocity adjustment has 16 positions
These are shown as the flatter multiple lines.

The total setting positions are 96 and they all produce a different force curve. For every one of the 6 low velocity positions there are 16 high velocity settings

This bump adjuster system can be installed into most dampers, here you can see an example for an extreme application. STA were contracted to provide suspension development assistance to improve the stability of an M113 that had undergone significant modification and upgrading.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The existing dampers were used and the JRZ double adjustable reserviour was installed, the tuning process after these were installed onto the vehicle took 3 hrs, a huge saving in time considering that there were 12 dampers on the M113.
