suspension design service. All systems
are designed using the latest CAD
software & based on tried and proven
formulae.

Component
Supply ~ Only top quality
components are used in all work carried
out by STA. We have access to a wide
range of components from manufacturers
in US, Holland & Germany.
Component
Assembly ~ STA
has access to a reliable supply of top
quality components from which to build
its springs, dampers & bumpstops.
Repair and
Servicing ~ STA
has the facilities to service &
repair existing dampers depending on
their design, manufacture &
condition.
Modification
of Dampers ~ It is often
possible to modify existing dampers by
re-valving them or making other
adjustments to improve their
performance. It is also possible to
convert your current, non adjustable
dampers to be bump force adjustable by
the addition of the JRZ bump adjustment
system.
Advice
~
If you would like to tackle the job
yourself, STA is happy
to provide advice on a consultation
basis & provide the components
needed to do the job professionally and
efficiently.
Testing
~ Springs, dampers & bumpstops are
tested in-house on our own late model
dynamometer to ensure that the final
product meets the specified requirement.
On-road & track testing is also
available. We have access to competent
test drivers in all facets of motor
sport and can provide test tracks for
both tarmac and gravel test sessions.
Testing can also be done with the
vehicle owner/driver.
Training
~ John
Wills is available to present
training sessions to motoring clubs
ranging from a brief overview of vehicle
handling & suspension systems
through to more comprehensive one or two
day sessions including track testing
one-on-one with club members/drivers.
Shorter presentations are free while
longer training sessions require a fee.
General
Mechanical Drafting ~ STA
has an integral CAD capability to
support its own design &
modification service. If you require
mechanical drafting support, call &
discuss your requirements.
Documentation
~ An important aspect of each job
completed by STA is the
provision of detailed documentation
relating to the characteristics of the
components supplied to meet the
customers requirements. It includes
before & after dyno sheets of damper
forces, spring rates & bumpstops.
